Our membership is made up of of more than 100 diverse organisations, from free speech and consumer rights groups to hacker spaces and computer clubs, in nearly 60 countries. Together, we bridge the divide between technology communities and civic and human rights organisations to advance the Web as a public good and basic right.
Through membership of the Web We Want, members benefit from resources, shared ideas and opportunities to learn how to succeed from each other. They are also encouraged to apply for our small grants. From this powerful base, our members engage in national, regional and international campaigns and activities, and work together to advance the free and open Web at critical moments for its future.
