Renata Avila is the Global Manager for the Web We Want Initiative. She leads our work to create a diverse alliance - bridging North and South and diverse disciplines - to propose and promote a positive agenda for Internet users, leading to policy and legal reforms both locally and globally.

Outreach
Nnenna Nwakanma works to develop cutting-edge collaborations, especially connecting activists in the Global South. She is in charge of coordination, connection and outreach for the Web We Want and is also Africa Regional Coordinator for the Web Foundation.

Solana Larsen
#FASTAfrica Campaigner
Solana is a Danish-Puerto Rican journalist and digital activist. She helps lead Web We Want's #FASTAfrica campaign and also writes the newsletter on a freelance basis. Formerly, she was managing editor of Global Voices Online. Solana is co-author of "Recipes for a Digital Revolution".

Paloma Blanco

Paloma is a Peruvian-Swedish communications officer and digital explorer. She is living in South Africa at the moment from where she is helping to coordinate communications for Web We Want's #FASTAfrica campaign while completing a fellowship with the Web Foundation.

Global Voices Lingua
Translation
Web We Want translations to French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic are completed with care and enthusiasm for digital rights by translators of the online community, Global Voices Lingua, who contribute fair trade translation services alongside volunteer work for Global Voices.
